Dallas Cowboys owner / general manager Jerry Jones went against the grain when he chose Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott with the fourth pick in the 2016 NFL draft. Since that worked out so well he drafted Mike Weber in this year’s draft.
This time he grabbed a Buckeye running back on the cheap as Weber fell to the seventh round. He could well be one of the steals of the draft, and if he is the Zeke and Mike show could be a fun one to watch next season.
Elliot and Weber were teammates in 2015 but never played in the same game together.
