One player who doesn’t get the headlines, but who is a very valuable piece to the Ohio State Buckeyes football puzzle is senior center Jacoby Boren, who was announced earlier this month as being on the “watch list” for the Rimington Trophy.
In a release from Ohio State it says this of the center:
“A 6-2, 285-pounder from Pickerington, Ohio and Pickerington Central High School, Boren is a two year letterman who has played in all 29 games the past two seasons. He started all 15 games at center last year, battling through shoulder and ankle issues to log more than 1,000 offensive plays from scrimmage for the College Football Playoff national champions.
