The Ohio State football team was in need of some linebackers. The ones they had weren’t getting the job done, nor was there enough depth to make a change that was going to work. Then Steele Chambers decided to make a position change.
Chambers stuck in a loaded running back room. Sitting behind Master Teague and Trey Sermon on the depth chart, he didn’t see a path to playing time at the running back position. Then he decided to become a linebacker. Now, he’s one of the Ohio State football team’s most reliable defenders.
Since making the move two years ago, Chambers has rapidly improved as a linebacker.
