St. Vincent-St. Mary graduate Dante Booker is expected to play for No. 2 Ohio State Saturday against Penn State.
According to Tim May of the Columbus Dispatch, Urban Meyer said as much after practice on Wednesday.
Booker was named the starting outside linebacker before the season, but suffered a knee injury in the season opener against Bowling Green and has missed the last five games.
The former Mr. Football in Ohio, who had two tackles before being injured, was replaced by Benedictine graduate Jerome Baker.
Baker currently leads the team in tackles (39), has 1½ sacks, five tackles for loss, a fumble recovery and an interception, which he returned for a touchdown.
