Well, it looks like the Ohio State football team has made great running back moves in the off-season. We knew with JK Dobbins declaring for the draft, the Buckeyes would have to find his replacement.
It looked like it would be Master Teague who is a powerful running back but is coming off of injury. On March 25, 2020, it was announced that former Oklahoma Sooner running back Trey Sermon, who entered the transfer portal just ten days prior, was going head to Columbus.
According to elevenwarriors.com, Sermon always wanted to be a Buckeye. here is a quote from Sermon’s mother Natoshia Mitchell as reported in the article:
“He didn’t want to hear from any other school, and to not talk to anyone,” since the Buckeyes were going to reach out.
