Head coach Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes football program had a fantastic week on the recruiting trail, collecting three times as many verbal commitments (six) than offers sent out to new prospects.
It started Wednesday with a commitment from Tristen Wallace, an outstanding 4-star dual-threat quarterback out of DeSoto, Texas. Over the weekend, the spring game drew many of Ohio State's top targets to Columbus, and Meyer capitalized by securing an incredible five pledges for his 2016 and 2017 classes. That group was highlighted by 4-star linebacker Tuf Borland (2016) and a pair of 4-stars from the class of 2017 in Marcus Williamson (cornerback) and Todd Sibley (running back).
