As Ohio State prepares for the last of its three football skill camps Friday for players headed into grades 9 through 12, it will be tough for anyone to top the exit of Kierre Hawkins this week.
Already committed to the OSU 2016 recruiting class, the wide reciver/tight end from Maple Heights, Ohio, kept his helmet on as he did a few interviews following the Tuesday workout.
“I’ve got my helmet, I’m wearing it,” Hawkins said. “I’m ready. I’m ready.”
Players must wear helmets during many of the drills, and most of the players bring their own.
