Ohio State football | Receiver Michael Thomas declares for NFL draft

Receiver Michael Thomas today became the eighth Ohio State underclassman to announce that he's leaving for the 2016 NFL draft.

In a message on Twitter, the junior from Los Angeles said he has "decided to forgo my senior year and chase a life-long dream of playing on Sundays."

He joins quarterback Cardale Jones, running back Ezekiel Elliott, defensive end Joey Bosa, linebacker Darron Perry, cornerback Eli Apple, receiver Jalin Marshall and safety Tyvis Powell as members of the 2015 Buckeyes who say they're leaving early.
