Ohio State opens on the road for the second straight season, playing Monday night at Virginia Tech. But under coach Urban Meyer, the road is basically home away from home.
In the regular season, the Buckeyes are undefeated on the road under Meyer. Of course, they have only lost three games total in his three seasons, one being to Virginia Tech last season at Ohio Stadium. The other two were neutral-site games to Michigan State in the 2013 Big Ten championship game in Indianapolis and to Clemson in the 2013 Orange Bowl near Miami.

Last season, the Buckeyes were 5-0 on the road in the regular season, including wins over Penn State and Michigan State, two of the tougher environments in the Big Ten.
