Bill Armstrong

Billy Joe Armstrong played center and linebacker for the Buckeyes during the era of single-platoon football, and he also could punt and kick, as coach Woody Hayes found out too late. Armstrong was first-team All-Big Ten in 1962 and later managed cattle and worked in the steel business, including as president of Worthington Steel. He has been married to wife Becky for 35 years.
