Ohio State Football: Only spring rules can slow down Buckeye offense

When the Gray team defeated the Scarlet 37-14 in the Ohio State Spring Game one thing in particular stood out. With the talent on the offensive side of the ball, it may be difficult for opposing defenses to hold the Buckeyes under 40 points in any game during the upcoming season. The spring rules won’t be in effect come September 1st.

A few skill position players put up pretty big numbers but some would have been even more impressive if it wasn’t for touch football being played in the first quarter. And it was for the entire game with the three quarterbacks.
