Ed Warinner has never been one for hyperbole, but Ohio State’s offensive coordinator made a tall statement after the first preseason practice in pads on Wednesday.
“That might be the biggest threesome in the history of college football in a recruiting class,” Warinner said.
He was referring to freshman offensive linemen Kevin Feder, Branden Bowen and Isiah Prince. They are three of the five offensive linemen from the 2015 class that also includes Grant Schmidt and Matthew Burrell.
Based on the official roster, the five in descending order are Feder (6 feet 9, 305 pounds), Bowen (6-7, 320), Prince (6-7, 305), Schmidt (6-6, 300) and Burrell (6-4, 300).
