With the next challenge looming on Dec. 31 against Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl, Ohio State kicker Tyler Durbin said his misses against Michigan are already distant memories.
Luckily for the senior, he had opportunities to make good against the Wolverines on Nov. 26; otherwise, his two missed field-goal attempts likely would have sent him hurtling into The Game’s chasm of infamy alongside kickers Mike Lantry of Michigan and Matt Frantz of Ohio State.
“I’m good, I’m past that,” Durbin said this week. “I was a little upset for the next day or two. And then I came in and was ready to get to work, get ready for our next game.
