One man, one vote; the importance of voting; the importance of being an informed voter – things were going smoothly during that portion of the Ohio State football team’s “Patriot Week” sessions the past few days until someone brought up the electoral college.

As Judge Marbley pointed out, in the presidential election, voters actually are casting ballots for electoral college members who then elect the president, a system put in place by the original framers of the U.
