Dispatch beat writers Bill Rabinowitz and Tim May engage in a give-and-take on Ohio State football.
Two games in and top-ranked Ohio State is riding high in the polls. The Buckeyes got even with Virginia Tech with a second-half blitz in Blacksburg, and they erupted on Hawaii in the second half to pull away to a 38-0 victory in the home opener.
So what's to criticize? Well, maybe criticize is a little strong, especially because Ohio State played two games in about the same time that a major-league starter needs appropriate rest. Except when a pitcher takes hits, they're almost always of the scorebook vernacular.
