The last player to commit to the 2020 Ohio State recruiting class was a big get for head coach Ryan Day. And not just because he is a coveted four-star recruit even though that’s a good thing too.
Lejond Cavazos was a part of the class before Urban Meyer announced he would be retiring back in December but then he decommitted. Obviously he now feels comfortable with Ryan Day at the helm and other players considering playing for Ohio State will take notice.
Recruits get to know each other and talk and text so I’m sure Cavazos coming back into the fold will help coach Day in his pursuit of other top-flight players.
