An NFL player once said the only thing former Ohio State wide receiver Cris Carter could do was score touchdowns. Is that a bad thing? It led him to a Hall of Fame career.
Last time I checked, the object of the game is to score touchdowns. Carter did that better than nearly every NFL wide receiver who played before him.
Carter had a sensational three year career at Ohio State. He finished his career as the all-time reception leader with 168 catches.
He became the first wide receiver in Ohio State history to be named first team All-American in 1986, his junior season.
