COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Gray team nearly got hosed.
Ohio State redshirt freshman Parris Campbell scored on 3-yard fly sweep from Stephen Collier to score a touchdown that put the Scarlet team up late in Saturday's spring football game.
The only problem was the play came well after the third quarter had expired. But this is spring, and there are no rules. Gray found an answer, though, in the form of a 37-yard touchdown pass from Cardale Jones to Corey Smith late in the fourth quarter.
It stood up in Gray's 17-14 in front of a national spring game record crowd of 99,391 in Ohio Stadium.
