The Ohio State football team and head Ryan Day tapped into the famed Glenville pipeline once again. Four-star tight end Damarion Witten and four-star top-50 national corner Bryce West gave their verbal commitments over the weekend.
Witten and West join linebacker Arvell Reese from last year’s recruiting class to make it three former Glenville High School football players to track down I-71 and play for the home-state Buckeyes.
It’s great to see Ryan Day and recruiting coordinator Mark Pantoni keep this existing relationship alive and well. It’s one that Jim Tressel started back in the day with the Tarblooders’ famed Ohio high school coach, Ted Ginn Sr.
