Compared to this past preseason camp that saw the loss of then-starting quarterback Braxton Miller, this year has been relatively flawless. That changed as of today though, as the highly-touted freshman running back recruit Mike Weber will be having surgery to repair a torn meniscus.
Weber figures to be out for about a month, which will stretch into the first few weeks of the upcoming season that begins on September 7th. While this isn’t a huge loss for the Buckeyes, Weber had been competing for the third running back position behind Ezekiel Elliott and Bri’onte Dunn.
