Ohio State football | Former coach Earle Bruce recovering from mild stroke

Former Ohio State coach Earle Bruce is rehabilitating from a mild stroke suffered three weeks ago.

His daughter Lynn told The Dispatch this morning said that doctors expect Bruce to make a full recovery.

WTVN-AM (610), for whom Bruce is an Ohio State football analyst, reported the news of Bruce’s stroke earlier this morning.

Lynn Bruce said that her father was at a family reunion in Maryland July 23 when he was stricken.

“He’s very lucky he was with a lot of people and not home alone,” she said.

Bruce, 84, has been rehabilitating at Ohio State’s Dodd Hall.
