With The Game in Ann Arbor looming, the loss to Michigan State still hanging and the critical postgame words from Ezekiel Elliott still floating, Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer said he moved quickly to address the situation both with the running back and his team.
“We squashed it as a team,” Meyer said today during his weekly news conference.
He said he met with Elliott on Sunday in the wake of the junior’s criticism of the play-calling in the 17-14 loss to Michigan State that sent Ohio State falling to No.8 in both major polls (the new College Football Playoff rankings will be announced Tuesday night).
