Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and Big Ten Quarterback of the Year on Wednesday.
The conference announced its postseason awards based on voting by coaches and the media.
Haskins, who threw for 4,081 yards and 42 touchdowns and shattered league records in a spectacular season, was also named first team All Big Ten on both coach and media lists. He was joined by WR Parris Campbell on the coaches list, and OT Isaiah Prince on both.
But Haskins’ achievements, including four 400-yard passing games six touchdown passes in multiple games, weren’t enough to earn a place among Walter Camp award finalists.
