Ohio State football: Did Urban Meyer wait too long to move Ed Warinner to the box?

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State had only 132 yards of total offense in its loss to Michigan State on Nov. 21, its only loss of the season.

A change was made.

Then the following week, the Buckeyes had 482 yards of total offense in a 42-13 win over Michigan.

That change was sending offensive coordinator Ed Warinner upstairs to the press box to call the offense.

After the game, Warinner said the Buckeyes were efficient with their up-tempo offense. Being in the press box provided Ohio State's offensive coordinator a better view of the field and a more comfortable environment.
