Before the season began I thought the defensive line could be Larry Johnson’s deepest and most talented group during his tenure at Ohio State. With the way the big guys up front have played so far they certainly have met expectations.
So much attention of the media has been on defensive end Chase Young, and rightfully so. He is recognized by many as the best player in college football.
Young has had a monster season recording 29 tackles (15.5 for loss) and 13.5 sacks. Other players on the line also performed well through eight games but were overshadowed by Young’s performance.
