When they were together at Bowling Green, Greg Studrawa dreamed of this reunion.
Fifteen years ago, Urban Meyer was a first-time head coach. Studrawa was early in his career as an offensive line coach.
As much as they appreciated their opportunity at Bowling Green, they dreamed of bigger things. Like maybe, just maybe, Ohio State.
“You know, I thought about it,” Studrawa said. “I told Coach, ‘If you (ever) get that Ohio State job, don’t forget my phone number.’”
Meyer didn’t. This week, he hired the coach known to everyone by the nickname “Stud” as the Buckeyes’ offensive line coach.
