Cardale Jones never discusses the question that’s on everybody’s mind.
Ever since Jones quarterbacked Ohio State to the 2014 national championship after injuries to Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett, speculation about who would and should be the 2015 starter has run amok — and sometimes beyond amok.
While many fans are obsessed with reading every possible tea leaf, the quarterbacks themselves have stayed mostly mum. Miller has maintained silence ever since reinjuring his shoulder last August, Barrett recently turned down an interview request, and Ohio State declined to make Jones available for this story.
But the two people outside the Buckeyes program who know Jones best — Michelle Nash and his Glenville High School coach, Ted Ginn Sr.
