Buckeye Nation was hoping for a more dominating performance but it should get used to this year’s Ohio State football team playing this way.
There were aspects to really like. The running game got back on track with 229 yards and four touchdowns.
Brendon White, playing for Jordan Fuller who was ejected for targeting, had a monster game with 13 tackles.
The mistakes continue though. Penalties, turnovers, poor tackling and busted coverages haunt both sides of the ball.
More than anything, the team’s lack of killer instinct is troubling.
There were many moments where Ohio State showed an inability to seize momentum or sustain it.
