Ohio State football: Buckeyes ride tidal wave of success for 2016, '17 recruiting classes

Isaiah Pryor caught the latest big wave in major college football on Monday. He committed to Ohio State for the recruiting class of 2017.

Just like the 2016 class that has 19 members, the 2017 class — already 10 members strong — is ranked No. 1 in the nation, according to Rivals and 247Sports. Coach Urban Meyer and his staff, with the Buckeyes just over a month away from beginning defense of their national championship, are on a recruiting roll, and Pryor, a safety from Lawrenceville, Ga., wants to be a part of it.

“Coming off the national championship win, there’s been a lot of buzz, a lot of people talking about it,” Pryor said.
