Columbus: Every great Ohio State player has a starting point and — although some fans might disagree — it’s not always Game 1.
J.T. Barrett has had his share of adversarial moments as the Buckeyes quarterback, but arguably it all started at the place he returns to Saturday when Ohio State faces Penn State at Beaver Stadium.
Many remember the 2014 game against the Nittany Lions as the game in which defensive end Joey Bosa pushed running back Akeel Lynch into Christian Hackenberg on a sack to end the game in a 31-24 double overtime win by the Buckeyes, but it was the leadership of Barrett that shined through.
