The Ohio State football team lost a member of its defensive end rotation as Omari Abor has gone down with an injury. The redshirt freshman will be down for “months” as Ryan Day confirmed earlier this week that Abor will have surgery. This, from Eleven Warriors:
“He did have a procedure, but I don’t know if I can get into all of the details on that,” Day said. “It’s gonna be at least a couple of months anyways, I guess, before he is back.”
While Day did not specify what the injury was, Abor was in line to crack the defensive end rotation this season for defensive line coach Larry Johnson.
