The Ohio State football team gained a commitment today from Jaylen Harris, a tall receiver from Cleveland Heights who has been considered one of the primary targets for the Buckeyes through the 2017 recruiting cycle.
Harris, 6 feet 5, 210 pounds, chose the Buckeyes from among a top five that included Alabama; he had whittled his final three to OSU, Michigan State and Penn State. He is considered a four-star talent in the 247sports.com composite of major recruiting rankings, and No. 28 among receiver prospects nationally.
“Since I was younger I always had a dream school, and all I really knew was that one school,” Harris said in a video announcing his commitment on social media.
