Ohio State football | Buckeyes fans at no loss for rituals

Is it Rhonda Venne’s strategically painted toenails?

Jim Martin’s self-imposed game-recording ban?

Or the luck of the film Rudy?

All three, apparently — and a host of other influences.

For every Ohio State fan, it seems, there is at least one Ohio State fan with a superstitious ritual.

These Buckeye crazies go to repetitive lengths to boost their team’s chances of victory during the college-football season.

Some even put stock in the power of their actions to control a game’s outcome.
