In a game that was only 10-0 in favor of Ohio State at halftime, the Buckeyes shut down Johnathan Taylor and the Badgers offense. Chase Young once again dominated, totaling four sacks and two forced fumbles.
Neither offense was able to establish a flow early on as the defenses dominated. The teams exchanged punts until midway through the second quarter until the Buckeyes got on the scoreboard with a Blake Haubeil field goal.
Justin Fields then found Chris Olave for a 27-yard touchdown to close out the first half.
