The Buckeyes (7-0, 4-0 Big Ten) struggled through the first quarter against the Wildcats (1-5, 0-3 Big Ten) and only held a 7-3 lead. Ohio State was dominant on third down throughout the game, and as the Silver Bullets gave up a couple of chunk plays on defense, the first quarter turned out to be the most competitive part of the game.
A barrage of Justin Fields and Chris Olave in the air and J.K. Dobbins on the ground lead the way to a 24-0 second quarter for the Buckeyes.
