Ohio State football, basketball ticket prices set for 2016

Ohio State’s Board of Trustees on Friday approved recommendations for 2016 football ticket prices, including a record $195 price tag for the Michigan game.

The board approved all of the recommendations made early in the week by the university’s athletic council, meaning the Buckeyes’ seven home games next season will fall under five different tiered prices: $70 for Bowling Green and Tulsa; $80 for Rutgers and Indiana; $90 for Northwestern; $135 for Nebraska; and $195 for the regular-season finale against Michigan.

Fans purchasing season tickets will spend $614, a 15 percent discount for buying all seven games.
