Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett is the Big Ten's offensive player of the week, the conference announced Monday morning.
The junior from Wichita Falls, Texas, accounted for a school-record seven touchdowns in a 77-10 victory over Bowling Green on Saturday. He also improved to 16-2 as a starter for the Buckeyes.
Barrett completed 21 of 31 passes for 349 yards and six TDs against the Falcons. He also ran for a score and finished with 379 yards of total offense.
