Ohio State football | Adolphus Washington's arraignment is postponed

The arraignment for Ohio State football player Adolphus Washington on a charge of soliciting a prostitute has been continued until Jan. 13 in Franklin County Municipal Court.

It had been scheduled for Thursday. Washington’s attorney Phillip Templeton sought and was granted the continuance.

Washington, a senior defensive tackle, was suspended by coach Urban Meyer for what would have been his final college game, the Fiesta Bowl against Notre Dame on Jan. 1. That came after Washington being caught in a Columbus police prostitution sting last week on the Far North Side.

Washington’s situation with Meyer was exacerbated because he was armed.
