Fields and Young will join quarterbacks Joe Burrow and Jalen Hurts at the ceremony and are just the 7th pair of teammates to be Heisman finalists in the history of college football. Ohio State is the first team to have a Heisman finalist on each side of the ball.
Although the Heisman will most likely go home with LSU QB Joe Burrow, Fields and Young should both finish in the top 3.
Fields has risen to the occasion when it has mattered most for the Buckeyes this season. In the Big Ten Championship, Fields was 19 of 31 for 299 yards with 3 touchdowns.
