Ohio State women’s basketball ended its regular season with a tough loss but will still be the No. 3 seed in the Big Ten Tournament.
After earning a 74-66 win over Maryland in their first meeting of the season, Ohio State came up just short in College Park on Sunday, falling 93-90 in overtime to the 19th-ranked Terrapins in its final game of the regular season.
Ohio State battled back from a nine-point fourth-quarter deficit to send the game to overtime, but came up just short in the end as Maryland’s Sarah Te-Biasu made a game-winning 3-pointer with one second left to play in overtime.
