Ohio State falls in final seconds to Michigan State, 17-14

Michael Geiger kicked a 41-yard field goal as time expired, sending Michigan State to a surprising 17-14 win over Ohio State on Saturday.

The win by the 9th-ranked Spartans wouldn’t have been a shock had it not been for the fact that they did it without their starting quarterback, Connor Cook. Cook’s shoulder injury kept him out of the game and gave Tyler O’Connor his first start as a Spartan.

The Buckeyes could not get their offense in gear, as they combined for…..you might want to look away for this stat….132 yards and five first downs on the day.
