The longest streak of consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances in Ohio State history has come to a close.
The Buckeyes are not among the 68 teams to make the tournament this season. The official bracket was released during a bloated, two-hour selection show on CBS, and the only mention of Ohio State was when it was among more than two dozen teams listed in a graphic dubbed “The Bubble Board.”
Ohio State finished 20-13 overall and 11-7 in the Big Ten, becoming the first eligible team from the conference to miss the tournament with 11 Big Ten wins.
