Not only did the Ohio State Buckeyes taking this past Saturday off hurt them in the AP and Coaches Polls, but apparently it also hurt them in the eyes of SB Nation, as Ohio State dropped a spot from third to fourth during their first off week of the season.
However, the move likely had little to do with the Buckeyes, and more to do with the fact that the LSU Tigers won what could be argued was the biggest game of the season thus far beating the Florida Gators 42-28 in the SEC’s version of Death Valley.
