Ohio State Debuts as First Preseason Unanimous No. 1 Team in AP Poll History

The initial Associated Press college football poll is out and Ohio State is a unanimous No. 1 selection – the first time in the AP Poll's 66-year existence that a team has debuted as a unanimous No. 1.

TCU is second, followed by Alabama, Baylor and Michigan State. Auburn, Oregon, USC, Georgia and Florida State round out the top 10.

Three Big Ten teams make the poll, along with eight SEC and six PAC-12 schools.
