Ohio State didn’t have any trouble winning its final non-conference game of the regular season on Saturday.
In Urban Meyer’s first game back from his three-game suspension, the Buckeyes rolled to a 49-6 victory over Tulane, improving their record to 4-0 on the season ahead of a much-anticipated game at Penn State.
Just as they did in each of their two previous home games this season, Dwayne Haskins and the Buckeyes marched right down the field for a touchdown on their opening possession of the game. Parris Campbell gained 35 yards on a catch-and-run on the game’s second play from scrimmage, and Haskins capped a nine-play, 91-yard drive by zipping a throw past a defensive back to Campbell for a 14-yard touchdown.
