The pre-draft process for Ohio State cornerback Kendall Sheffield hasn’t gone exactly according to plan. When the junior declared that he would be making himself available for the NFL Draft back in January, many thought that his speed and raw athletic ability would be exciting for teams as they watched him at the combine and subsequent pro day.
However — much like former Buckeye Billy Price did a year ago — Sheffield tore his pectoral muscle during the bench press, meaning that he wasn’t able to show what he does best, run.
