Toughness was the theme of the day at Ohio State’s pregame Skull Session before its first Big Ten home game of the year vs. Iowa.
Ryan Day, Chip Kelly and Josh Fryar – the three speakers on Saturday at St. John Arena – all centered their messages to the crowd of Ohio State fans around toughness.
“What an unbelievable day for football. There’s no better place to play than in Columbus, Ohio on a Saturday afternoon against a conference rival,” Kelly said. “This game is about toughness, through and through. Mental and physical. And as the old adage says, if you ever see a Buckeye in a fight with a Hawkeye, pray for the Hawkeye.
