Ohio State is making a few small changes to its pregame routine before home games this season.
During his first weekly radio show of the season on Thursday, Ryan Day said the Buckeyes will be staying at a hotel downtown on Friday nights this season rather than staying at the Blackwell Inn on campus as they have traditionally. He also revealed that the Buckeyes will wear team-issued sweats to the stadium this year rather than wearing suits as they typically have in recent seasons.
According to an Ohio State spokesperson, Ohio State made the decision to stay downtown so that the team would have more space for pregame walkthroughs.
