Friday was supposed to be the first opportunity for media members who cover Ohio State to have the opportunity to talk to Buckeye football players and watch the team practice, as the Buckeyes are set to begin fall camp tomorrow.
That, however, will no longer be the case.
In a statement released on Thursday afternoon, Ohio State spokesman Jerry Emig said that all football media availabilities have been cancelled until further notice, as the university continues its investigation of Urban Meyer, who was placed on paid administrative leave Wednesday.
"The university is committed to supporting our student-athletes as they prepare for the upcoming semester," Emig's statement reads.
