INDIANAPOLIS -- Ohio State had to feel pretty good going into halftime only down seven points to Michigan State in Friday's Big Ten Tournament quarterfinal.
That feeling didn't last.
A quick spurt from the Spartans to start the second half gave them a comfortable lead, and their third straight comfortable win over the Buckeyes in 18 days. This one was by a 81-54 margin, pushing Michigan State through to Saturday's semifinals.
The 54 points were Ohio State's lowest total of the year.
The Buckeyes (20-13) now look like they're heading to the NIT, their Big Ten Tournament ending against the Spartans in the quarterfinals for the second straight year.
